EYFS Teaching Assistant

Early Years Teaching Assistant for our Nursery

REQUIRED November 2026

HOURS: 31 hours 40 minutes a week (Monday to Friday 8.35am – 3.25pm)

We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated people to join us at Meridian Community Primary School as Teaching Assistants in school Nursery. Our popular Nursery includes children from 2 years old to 4 years old.

The successful candidate will:

• enjoy working with and caring for children, particularly Early Years children

• be highly motivated and keen to learn • be willing to work effectively as part of a team We can offer you:

• training that will support you in your role • children that are enthusiastic and eager to learn

• a strong, supportive and committed staff team • opportunities to develop your professional skills

If you are a graduate that is thinking about becoming a teacher and you would like the opportunity to have paid work experience in a school before applying for teacher training, this would be a chance for you to gain valuable experience to support your application for teacher training.
