External Funding Manager
Interview Date: 7th July via Microsoft Teams
We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced partnership individual to join us as our External Funding Manager. As our new External Funding Manager, you will be responsible for external funding for the Trust and its linked charity Bfriends, leading on bid submission and charity fundraising.
We are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience to draft and implement an External Funding Strategy for Birmingham Children’s Trust and our charity Bfriends.
You will help in identifying and securing funding from a range of agencies, leading on bid submission, and coordinating action across Trust services and partners to maximise success. You will develop strong and last-lasting relationships with the Voluntary, Private and Commercial Sectors across Birmingham and beyond, to support the delivery of the Trust’s External Funding Strategy and maximise fundraising opportunities for Bfriends.
We have been rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted, following a 2023 inspection. This is a fantastic achievement for Birmingham Children's Trust, with many positive highlights focusing on areas including the quality of staff leadership, partnership working, safeguarding and corporate parenting.
This is a hybrid role with at least two days each week based in Birmingham so you must reside within a suitable commutable distance of Birmingham and have the correct right-to-work documents to work in the UK. Sadly, we do not support those who require sponsorship.
