Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.

If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.

We are looking to appoint a School Estates Assistant to work within our Estates Team to assist with practical, physical outdoor duties, such as grounds maintenance and other associated duties, as well as setting up tables in the dining hall every morning.

  • Do you enjoy working in a busy and varied environment?

  • Do you have experience of operating electrical outdoor equipment, such as leaf blowers, mowers, etc.?

  • Do you understand the importance of safeguarding young people?

Salary: Grade 3 Point 7 on the Gildredge House Support Staff Scale 2026-2027: £24,229 GH FTE (actual salary £8,603 (pro rata). You would be required to work 43.2 weeks per year, Term-time only (includes 36.4 weeks of term-time plus 1 week of INSET plus paid holidays). Start Date: November 2026. Uniform provided.
