We are recruiting an Escort at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 20 hours
Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time
Location: Various - Countrywide

Team: Transportation Engineering


This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organization.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team.

The successful candidate would assist in the provision of safe transport for individuals within the Social Services Directorate who travel to and from their home and Day Service.

You must adhere to current legislation, industry best practice and the policies and procedures of the Council.

The nature of the role requires a flexible approach to working, with a requirement to work according to the needs of the service user. This may regularly involve early morning or late evenings and could lead to some limited exposure to inclement weather conditions.

For the role, we ask that you have:

  • The ability to undertake appropriate training/qualification.
  • Able to communicate with service users, carers, other staff and professionals.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
