We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and motivated frontline operative to join our Cleansing and Greenspace team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to helping maintain clean, safe and attractive public spaces for residents and visitors across the district.

As part of a dedicated operational team, you will be responsible for delivering a range of cleansing and grounds maintenance services, including litter picking, street cleansing, waste collection support, grass cutting, hedge maintenance, planting, and the upkeep of parks, open spaces and other public areas.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring our neighbourhoods are maintained to a high standard, providing a visible frontline service that directly contributes to the quality of life within our communities. You will be expected to work safely, efficiently and professionally while responding flexibly to changing service demands and priorities.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions, has a positive attitude and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will take a proactive approach to identifying issues, maintaining equipment and contributing ideas that help improve service delivery.

This post works a 4 days on 4 days off rotation (enhancement payable). Working times commence at 6.00 am.
