Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex
Salary: £29,540 - £32,061 per annum pro rata

Hours: 22 hours per week –flexible working across 3 days or over the week.

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service and making a real difference supporting our Communities Team? If so, Mid Sussex District Council is looking for a talented and motivated Systems Support Officer to manage IT systems & support the delivery of vital services to our residents.

To excel in this role, you will need:

• An in depth knowledge and understanding of PC applications, Microsoft 'Office' suite, Access, and an appreciation of network operations.
• Experience and/or a good understanding of the application of the newer emerging technologies such as Data Management and Electronic Document Management Systems.
• Willingness and ability to learn new applications and systems and be an effective problem solver.
• Able to plan and co-ordinate a wide range of tasks whilst working under pressure and to adapt and react positively to changing demands and circumstances.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff of all levels and outside bodies on complex issues.
