Bognor Regis Nursery School - Early Years Educator

33.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday 08:30am - 3.45pm each day (with a 45 minute unpaid lunchbreak), plus an hour for the weekly staff meeting on a Wednesday from 3:45pm – 4:45pm.

Term Time Only

WSCC Grade 3 (£25,614 pro rata)

Fixed Contract - until July 2027 with the possibility of extension

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Early Years Educator, Level 3 qualification in Early Education and Care or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Covering key groups of children and delivering exciting learning opportunities and experiences to meet individual needs;
• Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with children and their families to support learning and development;
• Contributing to the observations of children’s learning and development to ensure progress from individual starting points;
• Working collaboratively as part of an experienced team to meet the needs of the children on a daily basis.

Qualifications

We are looking for:

• An experienced Early Years Educator with a Level 3 qualification in childcare to work in our Nursery School team;
• A practitioner who can establish warm, responsive relationships while providing rich learning opportunities for children aged 3-5;
• A confident, reliable and adaptable educator who has experience of working with this age range.
