About the Organisation

Learning Space is a vibrant, growing charity with bases in Redhill, Tadworth and Guildford. Since 1997, we’ve been dedicated to improving the lives of children, young people and their families through high quality emotional and well-being support. Our approach is solution-focused, strengths-based, and centred on empowering children and young people to recognise their existing abilities and build resilience.

As part of the Surrey Mindworks Alliance, we deliver a wide range of emotional wellbeing services across schools, communities and our own centres.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll work both in Mole Valley secondary school sites and within our Redhill Centre, supporting children and young people aged 5–18 through 1:1 work and creative group programmes that promote emotional literacy, confidence, resilience and positive coping strategies.

You’ll hold your own caseload—often supporting young people with multiple needs—carrying out assessments, helping them identify meaningful goals, and involving families and schools as part of systemic, collaborative support. Maintaining close partnership working with families, school teams and other agencies is an essential part of the role, ensuring joined up, effective intervention.

You may also deliver workshops for parents and professionals, contributing to early help and community mental health initiatives.

We work closely with schools, NHS partners and community organisations, so you’ll be part of a supportive, multi agency environment where reflective practice, supervision and continual learning are built into the culture.

If you're passionate about making a positive, lasting difference and want to join a warm, committed team, we’d love to hear from you.
