We are recruiting a Driver at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: 37 Hours
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Various locations across the Borough
Team: Transportation Engineering
This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organization.
We pay an attractive salary of £25,584 - £27,269 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a flexible approach to work and has the necessary skills and commitment to enhance our team.
The postholder will a play a crucial part in helping to shape the development of the South Wales Metro whilst ensuring we have the vital passenger transport services in place to meet the needs of our communities for public transport, home to school/college transport and social services transport.
The nature of the role requires a flexible approach to working, with a requirement to work according to the needs of the individual
For the role, we ask that you have:
- A Full UK driving licence with D1 entitlement, or the ability to achieve D1 entitlement prior to commencement.
- Willing to undertake driver training for PCV licence / CPC.
- An understanding of the needs of younger and older people, and people with behaviours that challenge.
