About the Position

We are looking for a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team at Cwrt Mytton Residential Care Service. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and assist with food preparation to support their daily needs. Your work will contribute to the comfort and well-being of individuals living in our care home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out cleaning duties throughout the home to maintain high hygiene standards.
  • Assist the cook with food preparation and light meal cooking as required.
  • Follow health and safety procedures and participate in risk assessments.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Council policies and safeguarding principles.
  • Attend training, supervision, and team meetings to support your professional development.
  • Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role as directed by the Registered Manager.

Essential Requirements

  • Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and split shifts.
  • Respect for residents’ dignity, independence, and confidentiality.
  • Commitment to equality and anti-discriminatory practice.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in catering or domestic work.
  • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and health & safety procedures.
