The Dog Warden role is very much an integral part of our team, ensuring stray dogs in the Borough are captured to avoid the spread of disease and public safety, and ensuring they are kept safe while we try to reunite them with their owners. We also endeavour to encourage responsible dog ownership and public safety by ensuring dogs are microchipped and details up to date and promoting this and child safety around dogs at Community events.

As Dog Warden, you will spend much of your time out working in the community, but you will also form part of the wider Animal Health & Trading Standards team and may be asked provide support in these areas.
