We are looking to appoint experienced, professional and caring Deputy Managers in our 3 residential care homes.

The persons need to have CQC experiences and knowledge, be reliable, dynamic, vibrant, trustworthy, full of initiatives with passion to care for our elderly residents.

Locations:
George Mason Lodge, Leytonstone, - Care home for older people with physical and sensory disabilities, cognitive impairment and people living with dementia

Mapleton Road, Chingford - Care home for older people with physical and sensory disabilities, cognitive impairment and people living with dementia

Alliston House, Walthamstow - Care home for older people with physical and sensory disabilities, cognitive impairment and people living with dementia.

All services are inspected by the Care Quality Commission and rated as GOOD, but we are aspiring to be Outstanding.



Working Pattern:
Working between 7:00am and 9:30pm, including weekends and bank holidays working as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To Deputise for the Home Manager in his/her absence
  • To support the manager on day to day operations and development of the service in line with CQC standards
  • To assist the manager of the home in the management and administration of all personnel and material resources of the residential home.
  • To contribute as a deputy manager to the achievement of the authority’s key purposes and to the continuous improvement of its performance.
  • To manage a team of staff providing high quality and innovative person centred care to older people with a variety of needs including those living with dementia

Qualifications and Requirements:

Applicants should have minimum relevant care qualification, such as NVQ Level 4, QCF, or equivalent.

Candidates must demonstrate that they have the ability to read and write in English and be prepared to undertake a written test and demonstrate sound knowledge of IT skills.
