Salary: Starting from £17,974.70 to £19,498.37p.a.
Grade: Grade 4
Hours: 24 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced professional to join the Bereavement Services Team as a Crematorium Technician. In this role, you will carry out a range of duties including, developing relationships with key stakeholders and the bereaved, acting as the first point of contact for the funeral cortege, overseeing the cremation process and chapels on a rota basis.
Ideally you will have bereavement related experience but you must be a good communicator, problem solver, have an adaptable approach to work and provide a high standard of customer care.
This role involves manual handling and due to the nature of the work, being exposed to the elements while scattering cremated remains in accordance with instructions.
A full uniform and PPE will be provided.
This is a Monday to Saturday role and the working hours will be rota based over 5 days. You will be required to open and close the crematorium on a rota basis with another member of staff.
