We have an exciting opportunity to join our newly established Adult Social Care Business Administration Team within the Adults Commissioning, Integration and Market Development Service.

What you'll be doing
In this varied and rewarding role, you will provide high-quality business administration and coordination support across a range of Adult Social Care services. Working as part of a collaborative and supportive team, you will play a key role in helping to deliver effective services and positive outcomes for the residents of Derby.
• Maintaining accurate information within Adult Social Care systems and coordinating work to help ensure services are delivered in a timely and organised way.
• Building positive working relationships with colleagues, providers and partner organisations to coordinate activities, share information and support the delivery of Adult Social Care services.
• Contributing to the development of new processes and consistent ways of working as part of a newly established team.
• Supporting a variety of operational activities and projects across Adult Social Care services, providing opportunities to broaden your knowledge and experience.
• Undertaking a range of administrative and coordination activities in support of corporate projects and programmes, including Derby's School PFI Expiry Programme,
About you
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
Excellent organisational skills and enjoy working in a busy, varied environment where priorities can change. You'll be proactive, use your initiative and be comfortable managing a diverse workload while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues, partner organisations and customers. You'll be confident using Microsoft Office applications and willing to learn new systems and processes.
Experience gained in an administrative, customer-focused or office-based environment would be advantageous; however, we are equally interested in candidates who can demonstrate transferable skills, a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
