You will be joining a supportive and well‑established team that collaborates closely with colleagues at every level. The team works together to critically assess current provision, shape future services, mobilise effective solutions and manage change within Social Care.
As a collective, the team holds significant strategic and commercial importance within the organisation.
Key responsibilities…
Reporting to both the Strategic Commissioning Manager and the Senior Commissioners within the team you will:
- manage a portfolio of projects to deliver to the project plan, facilitating project groups to ensure accountability and the completion of timely objectives
- have responsibility for significant high value projects and commissioning strategies, overseeing change management and contract management
- ensure a portfolio of contracts deliver according to specification, responding proactively to provider under-performance
- draft decision and review papers that include clear options appraisals and recommendations which demonstrate your analytical and critical thinking
- form strong relationships and working partnerships to assist in the strategic development of service and deliver value for money solutions
