Organisation: Leicestershire County Council.
Work Location: Beaumanor Activities,Beaumanor Hall, Woodhouse, Loughborough, Leicestershire, LE12 8TX.
Salary: £24,804 per annum (pro rata for part-time)
Working Hours: 5 hours per day (07:00-12:00) Monday to Friday Term time, with room for flexibility if possible and options for additional work during busy periods and for specific events.
Contract Type: Permanent

Beaumanor Activities are looking for two part time cleaners, to clean the facilities and rooms making sure they are all cleaned and made presentable on a daily basis.
About the Role
As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of cleanliness is maintained for the benefit of customers and visitors to Beaumanor Hall and Park. This will include vacuuming carpets, dusting, polishing floors, emptying bins, washing walls, cleaning internal windows, and sweeping, Cleaning classrooms and toilets. Training will be provided to ensure the safe use of cleaning materials and equipment and the safe movement of furniture. You will also be expected to report any health and safety concerns you may identify when completing your cleaning such as defects to the building, equipment, and furniture.
About You
To apply for this post, you must:
- Have a good standard of general education. Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques.
- Be able to work as part of a team and with a variety of colleagues/clients.
- Be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the centre.
- Be punctual and reliable.
- Be self-motivated and able to use your initiative.
- Ability to follow and understand instructions and relevant procedures.
- An empathy with an understanding of Children.
