About this opportunity

Every child deserves the opportunity to feel safe, supported and able to reach their full potential. As a Child and Family Worker, you'll be at the heart of making that happen, working alongside children, young people and their families to help them overcome challenges and build brighter futures.

This is a rewarding and varied role where no two days are the same. You'll provide practical and therapeutic support to families, strengthen parenting skills, and ensure children's voices are heard and valued in every aspect of their care and support. Working closely with social workers, schools, health professionals and other partners, you'll play a key role in delivering coordinated support that helps children and young people thrive.

We're looking for someone who is compassionate, resilient and committed to making a positive difference. If you're passionate about supporting families, building trusted relationships and helping children achieve the best possible outcomes, we'd love to hear from you. In return, you'll join a supportive team environment with opportunities for learning, development and the chance to make a real impact in your local community.

This role is available on a fixed-term basis for 12 months.

We’re looking for individuals who embody our organisation's core values: ambitious, collaborative, compassionate, empowering, and innovative. We believe in the power of these values to drive positive change, deliver excellent public services and shape a better future for our communities.

We’re also about potential over perfection and we can help you grow in the role and thrive in your career.
