An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of our highly regarded catering team.
Are you passionate about food and enjoy working collaboratively? We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join us as a valued member of our dedicated kitchen team.
You will support the Kitchen Supervisor in all aspects of service at Duckmanton Primary School, West Crescent, Duckmanton, Chesterfield S44 5HD. This may include working at a production unit or a servery unit. Typical tasks involve:
- Food preparation and cooking
- Portion control and allergen compliance
- Preparing the dining area for service
Our Catering Assistants are the friendly face of our service, ensuring every customer enjoys a positive lunchtime experience. While serving meals, you will help maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and health & safety.
We aim to create great lunchtime memories for our customers, so it’s essential that you demonstrate a professional attitude suited to a school environment.
Please note: Successful completion of the NVQ Food Hygiene Certificate will be required upon appointment.
