What will you be doing?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Kent County Council, Country Parks team who provide leisure, educational, events, venue hire and café services across 9 Country Parks in Kent.

Country Parks are looking for Catering Assistants to work at their country park cafes at Shorne Woods Country Park and Lullingstone Country Park

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with an interest in customer service and catering

There are various contracts on offer including but not limited to:

Shorne Woods Country Park

Monday 12 – 4 April to October

Friday 12 – 4 – April to October

Lullingstone Country Park

Wednesday 11 – 2 – April to July with the possibility of extending to end of August

Saturday and Sunday 11 – 3 April – October

You will be expected to hold Level 1 or 2 Food Safety certificate.

The individual needs to be organised with strong customer service skills to ensure that visitors to the parks receive a quality café experience.

You will report to the Catering Services Manager who is responsible for the four Country Park café sites.

A job share will be considered for some of these contracts. When applying please be clear on the contract that you are applying for and the days that you wish to work.

The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
