Are you looking to be part of an exciting new kitchen start-up in central Hertford? We’re looking for people to join us on a journey where fresh great-tasting food comes first.

This role would suit someone looking to start their kitchen career, or an experienced kitchen assistant looking to be part of our incredible venue- BEAM.

What will you be doing?

  • Assist the Kitchen Manager and team with basic food preparation (e.g., washing, peeling, chopping)
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Support with plating and serving food as needed, and to agreed specifications.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations, completing due diligence as required.

About you

As an ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction.
