Job Title: Care Worker - Collins House Residential Home (x 3 positions available)

Directorate: Adults & Health

Location: Thurrock

Salary: £27,435 - £29,715 per annum + 7.5% shift allowance (pro rata to hours worked as part-time)

Grade: B

Contract Type: Permanent Contract

Hours: Part-Time – 18.75 hours per week, 22.5 hours and 30 hours per week. Please state which hours you are interested in when applying.

We provide care and support for Residents at Collins House Residential Home with 24-hour care on site via single or double handed calls. The service provides care 365 days a year.

We also regularly require casual staff to support with staff absence – if you think you could support us working alongside experienced staff then please apply.

Our service runs on a 4-6 weekly set rota which includes a mixture of early, lates and weekends. You will be required to work at least every other weekend and commit to working bank holidays if they fall on your working day.

The successful candidate will need to have a professional attitude at all times and have knowledge around the understanding of Dementia, Challenging behaviours and Manual Handling – training also provided.
