Are you looking for a new challenge working with technology to improve people’s lives?

About the Role

Leicestershire County Council have been implementing their Care Technology Service within adult social care since April 2022. An exciting opportunity has become available for a stock controller to join our well established and supportive team in implementing Care Technology.

The aim of the Care Technology Service is to assist people in remaining independent for longer, stay at home and give people their confidence back. The service positively impacts a wide range of stakeholders across the council and across the local health and care system, from care professionals and wider staff to people who need support, their carers and family members.

We are seeking someone who is passionate about providing and delivering positive outcomes through the use of care technology, alongside other support methods that the individual may or may not receive from adult social care.

The role is an office based (County Hall) position which involves stock management, refurbishment of equipment / technical support for a very busy team of installers that provide Care Technology across Leicestershire. The role plays a key part in keeping the team running smoothly and we are looking for a person that is highly organised and motivated to ensure this continues.
