Sefton Council is seeking to recruit a Care Arranger to work as part of an existing Care Arranger / Brokerage Team, but with a focus on the securing of Health care packages and care home placements.
The role of a Care Arranger is to support Adult Social Care teams to deliver social care for vulnerable adults. The posts will play an integral part in arranging, negotiating, and brokering services for adults whilst ensuring information from care providers is accurate and up to date.
To support us we are searching for team players, who are highly motivated, flexible in approach, and who are able to use their own initiative to tackle the challenges ahead. The successful applicants will have excellent communication skills in order to provide clear and concise information to social workers, care providers and clients regarding the provision of care.
Candidates will need to demonstrate relevant previous experience, have a good understanding of Social Care, with a ‘can do’ attitude, and excellent I.T. skills in order to account for work undertaken, and an ability to prioritise and organise a high volume workload.
This post provides a challenging opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a busy and demanding environment. They also offer excellent scope for personal and professional development.
