Are you passionate about data, analysis and using insight to improve services? We're looking for a Business Intelligence Officer to join our Policy & Performance team and help turn data into meaningful intelligence that supports decision-making across the Council.
In this varied role, you will:
- Analyse and present performance data using tools such as Excel and Power BI.
- Produce reports, dashboards and visualisations for senior managers and elected members.
- Support customer insight activities, surveys and consultation projects.
- Assist with GIS and spatial data analysis.
- Help maintain performance management systems and promote the effective use of data across the organisation.
We're looking for someone with strong numerical and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience of working with data and ICT systems. Knowledge of Power BI, GIS or performance management would be an advantage.
This post is career graded from Grade D to Grade F. Starting salary and grade will be determined according to experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to progress through the grades as they develop the required skills, knowledge and competencies for the role.
