About the Role

Would you like a pivotal role and lead on some of the most exciting future Bus developments in the Liverpool City Region?

Reporting and supporting the Bus Rapid Transit and Development Manager, you will be responsible for the initiation, specification and commissioning of major bus and public transport schemes in the Liverpool City Region to expand the transport network and meet our future ambitions.

You will have strong stakeholder and project management skills and be a collaborator who will take responsibility for the strategic development, planning and delivery of key schemes, projects, and programmes.

This work will enhance the efficiency, sustainability, and accessibility of the public transport offer. It will drive improvements, enhance quality, and make a real difference to the lives and life chances of the people of our city region whilst ensuring visitors experience of our transport system brings them back again and again.


A
bout the person

You will be passionate about public transport, be able to think outside the box, be highly organised, resilient, and adaptable.

Experience of planning and delivery, developing strategy, setting key performance indicators, good governance, risk management and using data to inform decision making are key. As is experience of designing and or implementing projects plans and schemes.

As a member of our wider multi modal team, you will have excellent customer focus, you will like solving problems, working at pace and be able to manage a challenging and diverse series of work programmes.
