Bricklayer

£29,786 per annum, plus tool allowance £213.24 per annum

We are looking for a suitably qualified tradesperson who must be competent in undertaking a variety of bricklaying, concreting, drainage and roofing duties including repairs to tenanted and empty properties (this is not an exhaustive list – as multi trade work is required across the service).

You will have experience of working in occupied properties and understand the importance of providing good customer care, along with necessary skillset of varying methods of bricklaying, roofing and any associated tasks around that role. The ability to work using your own initiative with minimum supervision and able to multi-skill is essential.

The role offers working times of 08:00 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 to 13:00 Friday

The post holder will be required to possess City and Guilds Advanced Craft or NVQ 3 in Bricklaying, or equivalent. Consideration maybe given to a time served construction tradesperson with a NVQ 2 qualification plus significant experience.

Additionally, you will also require a current valid full UK Driving Licence.
