We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity at Pens Meadow School following the development of our new building and the expansion of our provision to support an additional 30 pupils.
The Governors are seeking to appoint a committed, experienced, and enthusiastic Assistant Caretaker to join our hardworking and dedicated site team, working alongside our Site Manager and Caretaker.
Pens Meadow School currently provides high-quality education for 155 pupils aged 4–19 years with complex learning needs, including autism and medical conditions. Our staff are passionate about continuous improvement, teamwork, and achieving the very best outcomes for every child.
About the Role
As Assistant Caretaker, you will play a key role in ensuring our school environment is safe, secure, and well-maintained, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
Duties will include general maintenance, health and safety checks, security of the premises, and supporting the site team with the daily operational needs of the school.
