Starting Salary: £31,537 progressing to £34,434 per annum (pro rata for part time) plus 6% Market Enhancement

These roles operate the following shift patterns which incudes working 2 out of 4 weekends, evenings, bank holidays and sleep ins as well as some regular office based hours. Please note you will be required to work a combination of the below shifts:
Rapid Response Workers:
- 09:30 - 17:00
- 16:30 - midnight
- Occasional sleep in
Short Breaks Worker:
- 07:30 - 15:00
- 14:00 - 23:00
- Sleep in
About the team
ARC Services offer therapeutic support to young people and their families across Hertfordshire, through many different interventions.
We are looking for friendly passionate people to join our Rapid Response and Residential Short Breaks teams to help us make a difference.
No two days are the same as we work in a trauma informed creative way to prevent families breaking down.
Each of the teams work closely with social care teams, education, police, Out of Hours Service and Health.
About the role
This role involves supporting young people and their families through creative therapeutic family interventions within their family homes or our residential home. Promoting and implementing daily routines through support with school runs right through to night time settling.
About you
Essential:
- Experience of working with young people and or families.
- Ability to think on your feet, and remain calm under pressure.
- Demonstratable skills in resilience and ability to look after yourself and others.
- Ability to work 2 out of 4 weekends a month, evenings and bank holidays.
- Computer competency with the ability to record concise detailed reports
- Full UK driving licence with regular access to a car + business insurance
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 4 in Residential - You will be required to complete the NVQ Level 4 Apprenticeship in Residential if not already completed – college time is included within your hours.
- A therapeutic way of thinking – although training will be provided on ARC Framework, Non-Violence Resistance and Developing Therapeutic Skills
