Now is the time to come! The role of Advanced Practitioner in Northumberland is developing to support career progression and recognise the skill and experience you have. You could be part of this.

Using the Signs of Safety model, Northumberland is a family and child focused Authority, with strong and effective management and leadership (Ofsted reported!). Known for being supportive of staff and with a strong ethos for flexibility, working in Northumberland Children's Services is like having a second family (so say our staff).

The role of Advanced Practitioner is to lead the way, role model good practice and offer guidance and support to the social work team in working with children and families in need and in crisis. We are looking for a social worker with a passion for safeguarding children who can manage case load whilst offering support to their line manager, a real opportunity to develop your social work skills further!
