About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced leader. You will provide strong, compassionate leadership to a multidisciplinary frontline team, ensuring residents receive safe, timely and empowering support from first contact.

As a Team Manager, you will lead, motivate and support your team to deliver high‑quality, strengths‑based social care practice. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that professional standards, quality assurance measures and customer experience expectations are consistently achieved. Alongside this, you’ll oversee day‑to‑day workflow, triage activity and resource management, maintaining a clear and coordinated operational approach. Building effective partnerships with health colleagues, community services, voluntary organisations, carers and families will be central to creating a joined‑up and responsive service.

You will supervise Assistant Team Managers, promoting reflective practice, staff development and overall wellbeing, while ensuring that all practice aligns with legislation, policy requirements and budgetary responsibilities. The role also involves driving service improvement within the C2C model, placing emphasis on early intervention and strong risk management. In addition, you will lead safeguarding responsibilities and foster an inclusive, supportive team culture where staff feel valued, engaged and confident in delivering excellent care.

  • Confidence managing performance, supporting reflective practice and ensuring high‑quality service delivery
  • Experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies
  • Ability to manage complex risk, safeguarding and operational challenges
