Job Description
OverviewThe London Borough of Harrow is seeking a skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Social Care team, specifically focused on our Reablement and Enablement service. This vital role involves working closely with commissioned providers to help residents regain the skills, confidence, and independence necessary to live fulfilled lives in their own homes. The successful candidate will champion a strengths-based approach, ensuring all assessments and support plans align with the well-being principles of the Care Act 2014. We require a qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC who possesses a deep understanding of reablement principles and the "home first" philosophy. You must be a confident communicator capable of making sound professional judgements in a fast-paced environment. In return, we offer a supportive atmosphere where guidance and supervision are tailored to your experience, allowing you to make a tangible difference in the community.
