Housing Standards Project Officer
About the Role:
You will lead on the data research, analysis, collation, and intelligence gathering for the Housing Standards and related functions; to author the reports and present the findings Corporately, for national statistical returns, for Senior Leadership Team, Senior Managers and to other relevant stakeholders.&nbsp;
You will also complete confidential financial investigations for housing enforcement activities and to produce appropriate reports for legal referral and consideration to maintain and enhance the usability of the Wirral Corporate website for Private Sector Housing activities and manage and direct the work of housing assistants.

We are looking for a bright, conscientious and highly motivated individual with an excellent eye for detail and project solving skills as well as strong IT skills to provide intelligence and performance information to the Housing Standards management team in Wirral.
The Council wants to ensure it can respond to government KPIs and other information requests, can monitor enforcement activity accurately and can provide information required for service monitoring, review and continuous improvement in a fast-paced service area.
You will have some knowledge of housing legislation, experience building an effective team and supporting team members to achieve their best while having exceptional organisational skills to ensure deadlines are met.

We are looking to appoint an Estates Surveyor to join Pendle Council’s Property &amp; Engineering Services team. In this pivotal role, you will provide a professional valuation and surveying service and support managing a diverse range of council-owned land and properties.
The Role
<ul>
<li>Undertake valuations, disposals, and acquisitions of land and property in line with the Council’s objectives.</li>
<li>Manage Council-owned industrial estates, shops, offices, and commercial premises, ensuring effective marketing and maximum revenue generation.</li>
<li>Advise on a variety of commercial property-related matters, including preparing Committee reports and providing guidance to Elected Members.</li>

About You

<li>You must be a Chartered Surveyor with current membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and be a Registered Valuer.</li>
<li>Substantial post-qualification experience in commercial estate management is essential, together with knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital, along with the ability to plan, organise, and meet deadlines.</li>
<li>Experience in working effectively within a political environment or familiarity with CPO and Landlord &amp; Tenant legislation is desirable.</li>

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Wirral's Early Childhood Service to recruit a part time School Readiness Worker (18 hours - Mon/Tue/Wed)
About the Role:
School Readiness Workers are an integral part of the Children's Centre core offer across Wirral &amp; this post will primarily be based at Bromborough Family Hub covering both the South &amp; West localities.&nbsp;
School Readiness Workers deliver universal support to families with children under the age of 5 years, such as Stay and Play sessions, as well as more targeted interventions such as Baby Massage and speech and language development activities, all with the aim to support parents and carers positively impact their child's development.
The role involves working with parents/carers to support their children's individual needs and provide inclusive support for all, both in the community and in a family's home environment. A key part of the role is to work collaboratively with partners across Wirral such as health, schools, youth and community organisations to ensure that all agencies are collectively supporting the family to meet their child's needs holistically.
Wirral's Family Hubs are accredited as Baby Friendly providers by UNICEF and School Readiness Workers are key to supporting families with responsive infant feeding support.
