The role will focus on developing ties with local businesses, trade bodies and universities, building relationships with Westminster, Whitehall and other regional authorities.

We have an exciting opportunity for 2 Trainee Highway Inspector’s to join our Highway Maintenance Team. The Council is required, under its statutory duty as local highway authority, to maintain all highways which are under its control, and to co-ordinate utility works to minimise disruption on the highway network, ensuring that works are carried out in accordance with street works legislation and associated Codes of Practice.
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to play a key role in delivering these duties through highway and street works inspections, identifying highway maintenance needs, monitoring of utilities, contractors and other third parties such as developers, and liaison with all highway users including the public, as well as Council Members.&nbsp;
We have developed a Career Progression Pathway with 3 stages with a well-defined framework for progression through the stages, which would be subject to meeting the competency-based evidence at review. Successful candidates will be fully supported on their career path with rewarding work-related development and, where applicable, day release training at college.

We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and skilful Teaching Assistants for Northwood Community Primary School.
