About the Role

An opportunity has arisen within the Directorate for Environmental and Community Services for an Assistant Licensing and Enforcement Officer.&nbsp; Our Licensing team work to protect the safety of residents and visitors, whilst supporting businesses and licence holders to operate safely and efficiently.
The primary purpose of this post is to support the delivery of the full range of licensing functions, ensuring compliance with national legislation, guidance and local policies. &nbsp;As an Assistant Licensing and Enforcement Officer, you will be instrumental in ensuring that the council meets its statutory obligations, taking regulatory and enforcement action where requirements are not met as well as offering advice and guidance where needed.
About You

We have a vacancy for a Playworker at our Wokingham Smiles for Sibs group, which runs on a Thursday (term-time only) between 4.30pm and 6.15pm at the Woodley Airfield Centre. The successful candidate will drive and operate a selection of grounds maintenance vehicles &amp; equipment as well as undertaking general grounds maintenance duties, within the Borough of Hastings and St. Leonards. The postholder will ensure that a high standard of grounds maintenance is maintained and will have excellent customer service skills.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of driving grounds maintenance vehicles and will have the ability to operate a wide range of grounds maintenance tools and equipment.

About the role
The successful candidate must have the ability to work effectively under pressure to deliver positive outcomes. This is a pivotal role, responsible for financial accounting, treasury management, statutory returns, risk, insurance, systems and fraud services across two Councils.
As Deputy Section 151 Officer, you will support the statutory duties of the Strategic Director Finance, deputising in their absence to ensure the Council maintains the highest standards of financial governance, resilience, and accountability.
About the candidate
To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive finance leader who is CCAB, CIPFA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and have experience operating at a senior level within a finance function, preferably in a local government setting.
A strong understanding of financial systems, local government finance and treasury management is essential as well as the ability to inspire, empower, and motivate teams. You will also have a high degree of organisational and political awareness and the ability to influence and build strong relationships.
