You will be working towards or willing to undertake CPC training.</p>\n<p class=\"customHTML\">As a Reserve Driver you will undertake the collection of waste and recycling within the borough of Reigate and Banstead. It is essential you have a flexible approach to the work and hours. Your main duty will be driving for us although when required, you must be willing to work as a loader covering any service within the Neighbourhood Services team.</p>\n<p class=\"customHTML\">Some of the duties include:</p>\n<ul class=\"customHTML\">\n<li class=\"customHTML\">Undertake either working alone or as part of a team, the collection of Waste and Recycling services at a variety of locations throughout the Borough.</li>\n<li class=\"customHTML\">Use the waste management systems (Bartec) to complete rounds and report issues.</li>\n<li class=\"customHTML\">Receive instructions regarding exempt collections, special arrangements and specific collection points and ensuring these are carried out.</li>\n<li class=\"customHTML\">When disposing of Waste, abide by the rules set out by the allocated transfer station.</li>\n<li class=\"customHTML\">Advise the public on the Borough’s Refuse, Recycling and Cleansing regime where necessary.</li>\n<li class=\"customHTML\">If no driving duties are available, undertake loading duties and undertake ad hoc duties as required, within the scope of the job.</li>\n</ul>\n<p class=\"customHTML\"><strong class=\"customHTML\">About the Person:</strong></p>\n<ul class=\"customHTML\">\n<li class=\"customHTML\">Full clean driving licence. </li>\n<li class=\"customHTML\">You will have the commitment to start the day at 6am and work a 45-hour week Monday to Friday.</li>\n<li class=\"customHTML\">Willing to train and supervise a small team.</li>\n<li class=\"customHTML\">Have up to date customer care skills</li>\n<li class=\"customHTML\">A high level of health and safety awareness</li>\n<li class=\"customHTML\">Able to deal with a physically demanding job, working outdoors in all weathers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p class=\"customHTML\"><strong class=\"customHTML\">Staff Benefits</strong><br class=\"customHTML\">In exchange for your expertise, experience, and enthusiasm, we will offer support in continuing your personal and career development, in addition to providing a wide range of employment linked benefits.</p>\n<p class=\"customHTML\">We provide you with competitive annual leave, and contribute 15% towards the LGPS pension scheme.
