We’re looking for a motivated Estates Surveyor to help manage and optimise the Council’s diverse property portfolio—supporting day‑to‑day operations and longer‑term strategy so assets deliver strong financial and operational performance in line with TWBC’s Corporate Objectives and Asset Management Plan. As Planned Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for leading the delivery of our housing planned maintenance programme. In this pivotal role, you will be shaping the future of our housing projects, ensuring that planned works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.Essentially you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of planned maintenance projects, from procurement and design through to completion. Providing proactive quality control, tenant liaison, and customer care on site. Managing budgets, validating financial claims, and contributing to financial forecasting. Maintaining accurate property records and digital systems to support reporting and audit.It is essential that you have HNC/HND in Building Studies or equivalent, and/or significant relevant experience, along with having: Detailed knowledge of Health &amp; Safety legislation, particularly CDM Regulations. Proven management experience within a housing setting. Significant experience in planned maintenance, procurement, and contract management. Experience managing large budgets and multiple projects. Strong leadership, technical, and communication skills.
