About the role 
On Track is Rugby Borough Council’s social inclusion project which delivers services for young people in the Borough. Currently the project provides mentoring, alternative education programme, Planning and Preparation Assessment (PPA), Sports Leaders training, multi sports and recreational (Youth Club) opportunities for young people and pupils aged 8 upwards.&nbsp;
The post holder will be required to work both within schools and on community, based programmes during the year. Services to schools will focus on the delivery of mentoring support for pupils as well as sessions with smaller groups of pupils.
Youth Worker / Sports Leaders will be required to work on community-based programmes in youth clubs, parks and other open spaces delivering sports, outreach and detached work, as well as responding to support from our partners organisations in reducing ASB.
This is a part time, 20 hours a week 2-year Fixed Term contract.
About you 
As a Youth Worker / Sports Leader you to have a working record of experience coaching and be qualified to NGB Level 2 standard in at least one of the traditional sports or have a nationally recognised Youth Work qualification.
Applicants must be able to work during school hours (term time), during the day, evenings, and periods during school holidays. Flexibility exists within this. Your own transport would be beneficial but is not essential. This post is subject to an enhanced disclosure under the Disclosure and Barring system.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Wokingham Borough Council's Integrated Mental Health Service for an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP)/ Senior Social Worker (non-Social Worker AMHPs also welcome to apply).
As a Senior Social Worker/Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) you will join a passionate and dynamic team, playing an integral role as, we collaborate with The Health Trust to transform our services and develop a dedicated social care pathway.
We are looking for a self-motivated and legally literate individual, who possesses the AMHP qualification. You will be required to work primarily as an AMHP within the service and provide support to junior colleagues.&nbsp;&nbsp;Those on the AMHP rota receive a generous AMHP allowance of £5355 - £7000 (depending on experience).
We are seeking a part-time 0.45 FTE AMHP but are flexible and open to considering how these 15 hours/week could be worked to support AMHP provision in the team. The role requires good formulation skills and the ability to carry out comprehensive risk assessments, and strengths-based interventions.&nbsp;&nbsp;
The ideal candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of Safeguarding, the MHA, MCA, CA and Human Rights legislation.&nbsp; They must also be a skilled communicator, have excellent organisational skills, and have good IT abilities. <li>To act as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) and Best Interest Assessor (BIA); this includes being front line AMHP and back up AMHP as required, attending professionals’ meetings as AMHP, AMHP meetings, providing training and support to other services with the AMHP lead as required.</li>
<li>Conduct statutory duties under the Mental Health Act, 1983 as an AMHP</li>
<li>Act in a supervisory role to other team members and provide supervision in line with the CMHT Joint Supervision Policy</li>
<li>Identify safeguarding adult and children concerns and implement safeguarding policies and processes.</li>
<li>Maintain high standards of quality in clinical recording, ensuring information is recorded accurately, appropriately and kept up to date.</li>
<li>Comply with all service requirements in terms of lone working in the community.</li>

Candidate requirements:

<li>Are a Social Worker, Mental Health/Learning Disabilities Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Chartered Psychologists who hold an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) qualification/are willing to undertake training to be an AMHP.</li>
<li>Have a comprehensive understanding of Safeguarding, the MHA, MCA, CA and Human Rights legislation.</li>
<li>Should the candidate be unable to carry out AMHP duties at any point, there is an expectation for them to hold a caseload and carry out Care Act 2014 duties to support the wider social care team.</li>
<li>Be a skilled communicator, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and customers.</li>
<li>Be well organized with excellent time management skills.</li>
<li>Strong IT skills.</li>

The Role
To support on the delivery of the Mid Sussex Wellbeing Hub which is part of a county-wide programme in West Sussex to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent ill-health in our local communities. The hub provides information, advice and signposts local people to services for help and support on lifestyle issues.
The Wellbeing Advisor post will work as part of the Communities Directorate supporting the delivery of the Wellbeing Hub and its associated projects. Based at Mid Sussex District Council, the postholder will be responsible for the delivery of the Mid Sussex Wellbeing Weight Management service and support the delivery of other Wellbeing programmes such as smoking cessation, alcohol reduction and workplace health.
The service is currently looking to employ a Wellbeing Advisor on a temporary contract to cover Maternity Leave for up to 12 months.
The post holder will report directly to the Wellbeing Team Leader. They will be pivotal in the development and delivery of the weight management service, recruiting new referrals on to the service through advertising campaigns, providing interventions to adults (18+) within community venues for face-to-face group support, or one-to-one support face-to-face, over the phone or via virtual platforms. They will also, be responsible for reporting on the service key quarterly performance indicators. In addition, they will also deliver support around leading a healthy lifestyle to prevent future ill health, illness and disease brought on through an unhealthy lifestyle.
