About the role
The Mobile Estate Services Warden will work in a small, dedicated team of estate wardens contributing to the delivery of housing services provided by the Council. The Estate Services team provides an in-house cleaning service to our residential and communal blocks and estates. The mobile estate warden will work alongside the team who are based at Surrey Towers in Addlestone. The mobile estate warden will be responsible for visiting the Council’s different sites, across Runnymede to ensure we continue to provide a first-class cleaning service for our residents. Previous experience of domestic/commercial cleaning is essential.
About you
Our in-house cleaning service is a physically demanding job so being physically fit is essential to dealing with the various tasks that the role entails. The role requires someone who has previous experience within the cleaning industry and is outgoing as engaging with our residents and other team members within the council is very important. An understanding of current health and safety and COSHH would be an advantage. This role will require the right candidate be able to travel across the borough using a company vehicle, so a driving licence is essential. The role will require you to work both alone and as part of a team depending on the needs of the job. You will be required to provide occasional out of hours, on call cover, with emergency assistance.&nbsp; Some previous experience using various Microsoft applications to log site visits and fly tipping issues would be an advantage although training will be provided.

The Role:
As joint Head of City Planning Policy, you can make your own powerful contribution to Westminster’s success. This is a rare opportunity to lead city-wide planning policy development in one of the most complex, high-profile urban environments in the world. Working as part of a flexible job-share (three days per week), you will shape the long-term physical fabric of Westminster – from iconic landmarks to distinct neighbourhoods – ensuring that our planning policy framework supports the city’s evolving needs, communities and strategic goals.
You will lead on the development and implementation of key planning workstreams, including supplementary planning documents, neighbourhood planning, planning evidence and monitoring (such as the Authority Monitoring Report and Annual Affordable Housing Statement), and the Council’s response to national, regional and London Plan policy reform. While the other half of the job-share leads the full review of the City Plan (Westminster’s Local Plan), you will have substantial involvement in the project, maintaining a practical, detailed understanding of progress to ensure continuity and support across the full policy programme.
You will provide strategic advice and direction to Members, senior officers, and partners – helping to shape Westminster’s corporate position on major planning issues. Your work will be critical in supporting the Council’s leadership, including engagement with residents, businesses and visitors in the development of spatial, environmental and neighbourhood planning policies. You will also prepare and present Westminster’s responses to planning policy changes – including consultations led by the Government and the Mayor of London – ensuring alignment with council priorities and contributing to shaping wider policy direction.
A key part of your role will be to collaborate across departments and external partners to ensure integrated, multidisciplinary working – aligning spatial planning policy with wider social, environmental and economic objectives. You’ll bring together insights from Town Planning, development management, public policy and community engagement to ensure planning policy is grounded in evidence and shaped by the needs of residents.

About You:
You will bring a successful track record of leading and developing functions within a large, complex, multi-disciplinary organisation, managing comparable resources and budgets. About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our small kitchen team at our Social Centres in Addlestone.&nbsp; We aim to provide high quality day services and activities for the older residents of Runnymede so flexibility is important as you will be required to cover in periods of absence across our sites.
The Centre offers a traditional home cooked meal as well as providing a tea bar with freshly prepared sandwiches, cakes and drinks.&nbsp; The key duties will be ensuring that kitchen and tea bar areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and provide assistance to the Cook and Assistant Cook in preparing meals.&nbsp;
Although no experience is necessary, as we provide full training, we are looking for someone who is committed to providing a high-quality service and who enjoys working with people.&nbsp; There is also a requirement for flexibility, as we would expect this person to assist in the covering sickness and holiday at our various centres.
Experience of working in this environment is preferred, as we appreciate the challenges of a commercial kitchen can be hard work and hot, so candidates must be physically able to work in this setting.

About the Role
Are you an ambitious planning professional looking for a new role for the new year? This could be the opportunity for you.
This is a key role, in the service. The primary function of the job is to manage the Council’s Planning Enforcement and trees team and to assist the Head of Planning in the delivery of the wider service.
The team is currently fully staffed with permanent team members, and comprises of 4 Enforcement Officers and a tree officer.
We’re looking for an experienced planning professional who has the knowledge and interest to carry out this key specialist role. The ideal candidate would have practical experience of complex enforcement and some management or supervision experience, though we are keen to hear from candidates with a wide range of planning experience. <li>Work directly with children and young people and provide psychologically based support/training to school and as determined by the identified needs of the children and young people (as appropriate to level of training and competence).

<li>Build positive relations with parents/carers to encourage family involvement in their child’s progress</li>
<li>Maintain accurate notes, records and evaluations where appropriate, baseline and intervention reports and take a lead on the collection of the routine wellbeing outcome measures.</li>

What we’re looking for:

<li>Experience working in an education setting, working with students with Special Educational Needs – especially Autism (ASD), Attention Deficit, Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and dyslexia/dyspraxia</li>

Who are we?
Our specialist multi-disciplinary team of leaders, carers, therapists and educationalists work seamlessly together. They teach and proactively support pupils who have been subjected to adverse childhood experiences, including trauma, toxic stress and associated mental wellbeing difficulties, aiming to break the cycle of adversity. Children and young people may also come to us because they are challenged by attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, dyslexia, and dyspraxia or moderate and specific learning difficulties.
High Peak School is part of Kedleston Group. We specialise in providing specialist education and care for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These include autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
