The Information Rights Team work within the Information Assurance function that is part of the Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Service in LB Newham. This role is expected to provide an efficient and effective service of parking enforcement in our borough car parks, in order to minimise Parking Contraventions through the issue of penalty charge notices in appropriate cases, in accordance with the Council’s objectives, policies and the Parking Order.
The candidate will hold the relevant qualification to carry out Civil Enforcement (Level 2 Award, City and Guilds), be conversant with Civil Enforcement legislation and procedures, and be polite and capable of representing a positive and helpful image for Spelthorne Borough Council to our residents and customers.

We are looking for hard-working and dedicated people to help keep Broxbourne’s streets safe by joining our team of Civil Enforcement Officers.
Keeping children safe especially near schools, ensuring emergency vehicles have unrestricted access, as well as &nbsp;improving access to disabled bays and local facilities for less-abled people are essential aspects of this role.
The Civil Enforcement Officers ensure that drivers comply with these regulations as well as providing guidance. They play a vital role in ensuring good traffic flow, maximising available parking spaces and enhancing safety throughout the Borough.
The areas of responsibility include both on and off-street parking contraventions, as well as the smooth running of the Council’s pay and display car parks and on-street pay and display areas.
Excellent customer care skills are essential for this role. Applicants must be able to demonstrate good people skills often in challenging situations; they must be good team players and have basic computer skills. They must be prepared to work in all weathers on a flexible rota basis, which will include weekends and bank holidays.
A manual driving licence is required. This role requires a standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in fluent English&nbsp; &nbsp; is essential in this post.

About the role:
Horsham District Council is looking for a Planning Officer / Senior Planning Officer (depending on experience) to work within our Development and Building Control department. This is an additional post within the department currently funded for a fixed term period until 31 March 2027 to support the department through a period when we expect to receive a significant number of planning applications.
Horsham is an area with beautiful countryside but also significant housing pressures. We consider around 3,000 applications each year and are anticipating a significant uplift in development in the next two years following the Government’s changes to the NPPF. We work from a modern office building in Horsham Town centre where you will be working with a friendly, supportive and dedicated team.
Planning Officer:
As Planning Officer you will have demonstrable experience in managing a varied caseload of development proposals, from householder applications to equestrian and rural development proposals, small scale housing and commercial developments, and discharge of conditions. The role We’re looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead procurement activity within Camden’s Gas Servicing and Maintenance service. In this role, you’ll manage the end-to-end purchasing process – from raising orders and coordinating suppliers, to auditing invoices and monitoring stock.
