(Occasional overtime available for late meetings).</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>Erewash Borough Council is looking for an <strong>Assistant Team Leader (Cleaning)</strong> to supervise a team of staff to ensure that Council buildings are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What you’ll need to succeed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<strong>Strong communication skills</strong> – you will support and train the team and encourage good practices.</li>\n<li>\n<strong>Attention to detail</strong> – you’ll regularly check cleaning standards to make sure they’re consistently high.</li>\n<li>\n<strong>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</strong> – you will occasionally work on your own.</li>\n<li>\n<strong>Responsibility for building security</strong> – as a key holder, you will be a trusted member of staff.</li>\n<li>\n<strong>Relevant qualifications - </strong>cleaning qualification or equivalent and current HSE First Aid at Work qualification.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>About the job:</strong></p>\n<p>The successful candidate will be required to undertake a variety of duties including the security of buildings, caretaking duties and basic maintenance. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Previous experience of working within a cleaning/building service environment is essential for this role together with some experience of supervising staff.
