You will need to be assertive as well as sympathetic, empathetic, and good at listening as this role also requires the ability to be able to deal with difficult telephone conversations.</p><h4>About the role</h4><p>The role is very varied and incorporates the following:</p><ul>\n<li>Investigating clients’ accounts</li>\n<li>Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (verbally and in writing)</li>\n<li>Resolving queries</li>\n<li>Recovering outstanding monies</li>\n<li>Managing caseload of clients who HCC have provided care for.</li>\n<li>Making sure payment is forthcoming, as well as credits.</li>\n<li>Reviewing and monitoring caseloads making sure you are dealing with clients in a timely manner.</li>\n<li>Running reports for your weekly caseload.</li>\n<li>Running payment reports and updating your spreadsheets</li>\n<li>Liaising with different stakeholders to get the results required.</li>\n</ul><h4>About you</h4><p><strong>Essential</strong>:</p><ul>\n<li>Experience of working in a financial team</li>\n<li>Strong communication skills, both verbally and written with the ability to establish strong relationships.</li>\n<li>Must be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n<li>Working as part of a team and individually</li>\n<li>Ability to influence and negotiate.</li>\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Experience in any kind of credit control.</li>\n<li>Competent with using Microsoft applications such as excel, word and Outlook</li>\n<li>Accurate and timely record keeping</li>\n<li>An understanding of financial processes and account reconciliations (not essential)</li>\n<li>Good time and diary management skills.</li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills are a must as we encourage you to challenge and contribute to the identification for service improvement and increased efficiency</li>\n</ul><p><br><br><strong>Desirable</strong></p><ul>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n<li>Outstanding organisational skills</li>\n<li>Knowledge of SAP, and other systems</li>\n<li>A good team player and be confident with their ability to produce the required results.</li>\n</ul><p><em>We welcome applications from candidates who currently reside in the UK with established proof of right to work documentation.
