This involves dealing with a range of business licences, including taxis, alcohol premises, gambling, animal welfare and scrap metal.</p>\n<p>The work will involve building good relationships with licence-holders, applicants, councillors, colleagues and external partners, including the police, DVLA, trading standards and fire service to drive up standards. Workloads will often be heavy, so the ability to manage conflicting demands on your time is essential.
