You should be comfortable turning insights into actionable strategies that align with organisational goals.\nYou will have proven experience in writing successful grant applications and funding bids, with the ability to navigate funding opportunities and secure resources that drive innovation forward.\nStrong analytical skills are essential. You should be able to undertake market analysis, carry out feasibility studies, and conduct options appraisals, effectively gathering and evaluating data to produce informed, evidence-based recommendations.\nThe role requires excellent time management and organisational skills. You must be capable of prioritising your own workload, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and delivering high-quality outputs within set deadlines.\nExceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—are key. You should be adept at producing engaging presentations, visuals, business cases, and reports that support your work and help secure buy-in from a variety of stakeholders.\nA solid understanding of innovation and best practice in one or more service areas within Neighbourhood Services—such as waste management, street cleansing, parks, public protection, or enforcement—is essential to ground your work in real-world service delivery.\nFinally, you will hold a relevant graduate qualification or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience in a related field.\n\n<h2>About us</h2>\n\nOur ambitious Luton 2040 Vision – that no-one in Luton will have to live in poverty – is at the heart of everything we do.
