The purpose of the role is to provide support to a cohort of young people and their families at risk of exploitation and serious youth violence. It is also to prevent offending and re-offending by young people by providing an effective service to young people and their carers. Furthermore, to raise awareness with children, families, communities and professionals around the issues of exploitation, serious youth violence and associated risks.</p>\n<p>You will be working within the multi-agency Exploitation Team where we are developing an innovative harm outside the home approach to issues around exploitation, missing and serious youth violence. You will need good people skills and experience of engaging with young people effectively. You will have a caring nature and an ability to work creatively in an effort to engage children who are at risk of harm outside of the home. This is a role which carries the responsibility of ensuring that all demolition and construction activities are carried out safely, legally and with minimal impact on the highway network, its users and the local residents.
