Black Horse Hill Infant School
Our dedicated and much-respected caretaker is retiring after many years of loyal service and the Governors of Black Horse Hill Infant School are now seeking to appoint a committed and hardworking individual to take on this vital role within our school community.
We are a warm and friendly Infant School where children are at the heart of everything we do. As our caretaker, you will play an important role in maintaining and developing our school site so that our school remains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors.
The role requires excellent organisational skills, the ability to work autonomously, a good level of physical fitness, the ability to carry out basic maintenance tasks/minor repairs and a strong sense of responsibility. Previous experience is an advantage however not essential because training will be provided. This is a permanent position starting on 1st September 2025.The hours will be 7am -11am. The contracted hours are 20 hrs per week but additional hours may be required for emergency key holding duties.
The Governors of Black Horse Hill Infant School are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment.
