And we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind. You can help shape a better future for us all by overseeing the efficient & timely delivery of high-quality digital products and services that address our citizens’ needs.
The role
Reporting to the Lead Delivery Manager, the role of Delivery Manager works with multidisciplinary teams to develop environments they can thrive in, instilling a culture of continuous improvement and helping them overcome challenges.
You will work closely with product managers, designers and developers using your experience and expertise to support the build and improvement of digital products and services for Camden's communities and the teams that support them. We are particularly interested in speaking to people who have experience working with CRMs or enterprise level content managed websites, with multiple integrations and a complex mix of stakeholders.
You will undertake all duties with due regard to the provisions of health and safety regulations and legislation, Data Protection/GDPR, the Council’s Equal Opportunities and Customer Care policies.
About You
As Delivery Manager you will lead the end-to-end delivery of new digital services by multi-disciplinary product teams through the product lifecycle and into continuous delivery and support.
You will be experienced in leading the delivery of evidence driven, user needs focussed product backlogs, from inception to first delivery and beyond.
You will have a comprehensive understanding of the design, technology and data principles used by cross-discipline product teams with proven experience of agile delivery. You will have taken responsibility for the delivery of digital products and services within private or public organisations.
You will have experience of using agile tools and techniques and be able to decide when it is appropriate to use them and constantly strive to help our team to work better and share knowledge across the council and wider local government network.
You are comfortable working with numerous stakeholders across all levels of seniority, ensuring they are kept informed at every stage of delivery and confidently communicate across the whole organisation using a high standard of written and verbal presentation.
You will be a champion for agile delivery and take an active role in developing our Delivery community of practice, working across the organisation and outside to develop our team and engage others in it.
