Connaught Special School is seeking to appoint a driven, ambitious and customer focused School Operations Manager.
You will play a key role in working with&nbsp;the Head Teacher and senior leaders to shape the excellent administrative function that will support staff, pupils and parents.

Our ideal candidate will be naturally organised, able to use their initiative but also know when it is best to work collaboratively. You may already have the advantage of knowing how to use the Google Drive and Google tools to best effect; however, if you do not a key skill will be your ability to transfer your existing practice from other systems, and to develop your knowledge of the applications that you will need to use in the role on a day to day basis.
The job description outlines the spheres of administrative and leadership responsibility that the School Operations Manager will have (general Office Administration, Premises and H&amp;S administration, and a core role in ensuring that front of house services are professional and meet the needs of all visitors and parents). The post holder will receive support and guidance from our central support teams in all aspects of the role. Together we will ensure that a highly organised administrative function focuses on the right areas at the right time, enabling the Connaught Special Schools senior leadership team to focus on delivering excellent education to our pupils.
The role will be full time, 52 weeks per year and 36 hours per week.

Mapesbury School is our newest Special Educational Needs school in Cricklewood, Brent. Our small school supports children aged between 7 to 16 years with Autism and associated conditions who have not been able to access education in a mainstream or specialist setting and would benefit from an integrated therapeutic approach to education. Who are we?
Hawley Woods School provides a specialist environment and support primarily for autistic children and those needing a similarly adapted approach with small classes of 6-8 pupils within our calm, nurturing setting. Our school caters for children from the age of 7 up to 16 years (Key Stages 2, 3 and 4). 
We help children with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) who may be struggling to keep up with the pace of work, may be losing confidence, or struggling with the overwhelming sensory environment of their mainstream school. We also help children who have been out of education for a period of time, to positively re-engage in an education which takes into account any negative experiences they may have had in schools so far.

Hawley Woods School is part of Kedleston Group. We specialise in providing specialist education and care for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These include autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
