Are you passionate about managing records? This role provides practical support and guidance for the delivery of effective paper and electronic information asset management, under GDPR and the Freedom of Information Act. Do you have skills and experience in administration of records including cataloguing and indexing files. Do you understand retention policies and classification. If so, you may be the perfect candidate for this role.
Knowledge of classification of stock/records using internationally recognised classification scheme would be needed.
The role involves guiding users in utilising emerging records management functionality of KMBC’s electronic systems and assisting in conversion of paper records into electronic medium. As well as coordinating the internal Paper Records Management service and reviewing files against record retention guidelines.
A good general standard of education (GCSEs, NVQ) is essential. A qualification in Information Management or Records management or Librarianship or Administration would be desirable.

The Operational Services Division of Epsom &amp; Ewell Borough Council is looking for dedicated individuals to drive and supervise refuse and recycling collection vehicles, ensuring a timely, high quality, safe, friendly and efficient service to our residents.
Epsom &amp; Ewell Borough Council collects almost 120,000 refuse and recycling containers each week.&nbsp; Over half of all collected waste is recycled. You will be the primary driver of a vehicle up to 26 tonnes in support of the Council’s refuse and recycling collections. You will be responsible for its activities and crew, ensuring their safety and that all tasks are completed efficiently and within set timelines. The role provides an opportunity for the successful candidates to work outdoors as part of an enthusiastic and friendly team while enhancing the Borough, the Council and their own professional portfolio.
You will undertake daily vehicle checks, ensuring you comply with all procedures relating to its use and report any defects. You will also arrange the safe disposal of the vehicle’s contents to waste sites guaranteeing all site instructions are adhered to.&nbsp; You must also be aware of all COSHH regulations and keep up to date with new legislation by attending all training provided to you.&nbsp;&nbsp;
You must be able to work safely on your own, and methodically as part of a team as you will also be required to help the crew with emptying refuse and recycling bins. You will be flexible, as you will be required to work early mornings and bank holidays. You will be able to communicate effectively and politely with the public.&nbsp;
You must already possess a valid LGV licence category C and a valid Driver CPC qualification. You will be required to bring both your licence and Driver CPC photocards to the interview. Full, ongoing Driver CPC training is provided as part of the role.

Permanent Cleaner - Band B
