These are teams of highly dedicated Social Workers who support each other in the day to day task of ensuring we reach the best outcomes for our disabled children in a timely manner, enabling them to live their lives to the full.</p><p>We are committed to working with partners and families to support children and young people to be safe and secure, to promote physical and emotional well-being and to help them achieve their full potential within their communities.</p><p>We also are supported by a team of skilled Family Practitioners who assist in facilitating behaviour management work and undertaking direct work with children with disabilities and their families. </p><p>Based at Castle House in Newcastle Under Lyme, covering Newcastle itself and the Moorlands. Hybrid working is supported, with a mix of being able to work at home and being part of the team in the office. </p><p>This is a Fixed Term role for 12 months</p><b>Main Responsibilities</b><br><p>As a qualified Social Worker, you will:</p><ul>\n<li>be based within a team of 7 Social Workers and 1 Family Practitioner. </li>\n<li>complete statutory duties in line with the Children Act 1989 including working with children under S17/S47, supporting children in our care and completing holistic assessments and plans for our disabled children.
