Here at Go Active we love multi skilled individuals who are willing to support different roles within our leisure facilities helping us to meet service need and providing an efficient and professional service to the local community. In return we will support you to develop the skills you need to start a career that makes a real difference. When you join us as a Leisure Assistant you can expect to:
- Provide lifeguard cover for swimming tuition and aquatic pool activities
- Undertake general administration & customer care
- Supervise facilities and set up equipment.
- Cover Reception dues and membership enquires/payments
Interested in a career as a Leisure Assistant but not yet qualified? Go Active is scheduled to run the RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification course in July 2025 giving you the opportunity to qualify during your first 12 weeks in the role !
Go Active currently has a range of hours available across our centres starting from 5 hours up to 23 hours as Leisure Assistants. Enhanced rates of pay may be applicable (dependent on role/terms) for unsociable/weekend hours, irregular shift allowance etc

Join us at our Open Day!
At Go Active, we think recruitment decisions should be two way which is why we are inviting you to book onto one of our open days sessions, for an informal 1 hour meet and greet with the team.
Bookings will be taking place at our Newton le Willows Site on 26th or 27th June between 10am-7pm
