Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School is a highly successful, diverse, inclusive and welcoming school within the Diocese of Shrewsbury.
Due to the resignation of our highly respected, successful Headteacher, Governors are looking to appoint a Headteacher, who is inspirational, enthusiastic and committed to leading our school in the next stage of its development. Our reputation is strong, and the school community supports the vision and Catholic ethos of the school.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a practising Catholic, who is dynamic, forward thinking and who can work in partnership with staff, children, senior leaders, families and governors, to drive and guide Sacred Heart on our journey of faith, love and academic excellence. If you are passionate about making a difference, we would encourage you to apply and join our dedicated team.
We are seeking a person who:
- has a genuine enthusiasm and hunger to drive forward and enrich our school, displaying a deep commitment to the Catholic ethos.
- A love of children, staff and all that happens at Sacred Heart, helping us to truly demonstrate our Mission.
- is a role model with a clear vision for our school, able to inspire and motivate others through their commitment and dedication.
- is an aspirational leader, ensuring high quality teaching and learning with the ability to build upon the existing rich curriculum with high expectations of children’s attainment, achievement and behaviour, supporting every child to develop and reach their own unique, individual potential
In return we can offer:
- a happy, loving, nurturing, secure environment which celebrates the Catholic faith and ethos, where faith and learning are intertwined and built on the teachings of Jesus.
- happy, confident, ambitious and enthusiastic children who enjoy learning.
- a dedicated, supportive and hard-working family of teachers and support staff who are fully committed to achieving the best outcomes for all pupils.
- a commitment to your wellbeing and professional development.
We warmly invite you to visit our school to meet our happy, confident and enthusiastic pupils and dedicated staff. Visits can be arranged by contacting Mr Karl Landrum, our Chair of Governors on karllandrum@sacredheart.wirral.sch.uk
